My First Flight in a B-25!

   Today I got the surprise of my life! As we were preparing the B-25J for a 'Living History Flight Experience' or LHFE, I was approached by Col. Bob Moore and told that the gentleman chartering the flight had an extra seat and asked if I would like to go. After a moment of speechlessness, I accepted the invitation! Show Me and Lil' Show Me

  Here are photos of the B-25J preparing to leave for the CAF Airpower Tour at Carbondale/Marion IL. It joined 'FIFI' the only B-29 Superfortress still flying as well as other rare WWII aircraft.

Here are some photos of the 1941 Aeronca L-3E Lil' Show Me. These were used for observation and search and rescue during World War II.

St Charles Lion's Club Car Show, McNair Park

I got to see some more awesome cars at this show! I amazes me just how many classic cars and trucks there are in the St Charles, Mo area! Here are the ones that really stood out to me. If you see your ride and would like a photo, let me know (it won't have my blog address on it).
