EAA Young Eagles Rally

On Saturday, July 13th, my three kids got the chance to fly at the EAA Chapter 32 Young Eagles rally. It was the first time my girls have flown in a small plane. They loved it! My son has been up before and loves aviation. He spent the morning working on his aviation merit badge since he is a Boy Scout. He also has joined the Commemorative Air Force-Missouri Wing with me as a Cadet so he can get the opportunity to maintain and fly in the aircraft! Here are photos of my three 'young eagles'!

In this photo my son Josh is working on his aviation merit badge and my girls are listening in as they wait for their flight.

in a 1946 Aeronca Ercoupe!

Their grins were twice as big when they got back! They are totally hooked on flying now!

After Josh finishes his merit badge class, he prepares to go flying!

After all the Young Eagles finished their flights, I bummed a flight myself! This is a photo of my work and neighborhood.

The next EAA Young Eagles Rally is Saturday, August 10th. My 'young eagles' can't wait!
