St Louis County Airshow-Blue Angels

Here are videos and photos of the St Louis County Airshow at Spirit of St Louis Airport 2-4 May. The main attraction was the Navy's Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team! I have seen them perform many times but it never gets old. I flew to the show as aircrew aboard the CAF-Missouri Wing's TBM Avenger, as you can see in the videos, and my son Josh got to fly aboard the B-25 Mitchell! It was his first flight in a warbird and he absolutely loved it! We had an awesome time and met some very interesting people including a veteran TBM pilot that flew them in the Pacific in 1943! I was also fortunate enough to meet a veteran that was a tail gunner on a B-17 Flying Fortress during WWII. There are not many of these heroic veterans left so its something I will treasure the rest of my life! My son worked his tail off helping set up the viewing stands on the TBM and B-25 and setting up the PX (memorabilia) tent, then making dog tags for the two show days. I am very proud of him!
